CFI

A certified flight instructor (CFI) is a qualified aviation professional who is authorized to teach aspiring pilots the necessary skills and knowledge to operate an aircraft safely. To become a CFI, candidates must meet several requirements, including holding a valid commercial pilot certificate, completing a minimum amount of flight hours, and passing a series of written and practical exams. Additionally, CFIs must demonstrate proficiency in both flying and teaching, ensuring they can effectively impart knowledge to their students. This role is essential in fostering the next generation of skilled pilots.

Estimated breakdown of costs for the CFI course:

Flight Hours 10 hours 

One on One Ground School- 7 hours 

FOI Ground School Hours- 10 hours

CFII

A Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) is a specialized flight instructor who is certified to teach instrument flying and help pilots obtain their instrument ratings. To become a CFII, an individual must already hold a valid commercial pilot certificate and an instrument rating. Additionally, they must complete a written exam, pass a check ride with an examiner, and demonstrate a thorough understanding instrument flight rules and procedures. This certification enhances a pilot's ability to teach others how to fly safely in various weather conditions, making it an essential qualification for aspiring flight.

Flight Hours  - 20 hours 

Simulator - 3 hours 

One on One Ground School- 3 hours

Total estimated flight and ground training cost: $2,790.00

MEI

A Multi-Engine Flight Instructor (MEI) is a specialized flight instructor who is certified to teach pilots how to operate multi-engine aircraft. To become one, you must first hold a valid flight instructor certificate a multi-engine rating. After meeting the required flight hours and experience, you must complete an MEI training course, which includes ground and flight instruction, followed by a practical test with an examiner. certification allows instructors to help aspiring pilots gain the skills necessary to fly more complex aircraft safely and effectively.
